The small former mining community is ready to take on Britain's largest private landowner, the Duke of Buccleuch.

  A small, fairly prosperous rural town like Biggar probably isn't the sort of place which immediately springs to mind in the context of Land Reform. However, just one afternoon walking around a identified several issues where Land Reform would bring improvements to the community.

South Lanarkshire Common Good Assets Register

South Lanarkshire Greens have obtained a copy of the SLC Common Good register showing land that was gifted to communities in times past. We will be following up a number of questions on this, like, who gets the income from the sale or rental of these sites?
